This week, I learned about Blockchain!👀 Blockchain is an innovative technology that started as the foundation for Bitcoin but has now expanded into many other areas. It is decentralized, meaning there is no central server, and data is maintained by network participants. Data in blockchain is organized into "blocks" linked in a chain, making it nearly impossible to alter once added. This transparency and security come from complex encryption. Networks use consensus mechanisms like Bitcoin's "Proof of Work" to verify data. Blockchain also supports "smart contracts," which automatically execute terms when conditions are met.
